I am recruiting students for my lab at Louisiana State University! If you are interested in working on online trust, measurement, usability and Human-centered Security, please send me your CV.

I am an incoming tenure-track Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University in the Division of Computer Science and Engineering, starting in Fall 2025.
Previously, I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Arlington, working at the
Security and Privacy Research Lab, where I specialized in studying online abuse, particularly social engineering attacks across various platforms, with an emphasis on developing real-time frameworks for detecting and reporting these threats. I take an interdisciplinary approach in my research, integrating methods from Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Social Computing, and Software Security.
My work has been featured in several top-tier conferences, including USENIX Security 2025, IEEE S&P 2024, ICWSM 2024, and ACM IMC 2023. Notably, our research on exploiting commercial Large Language Models to create evasive phishing scams was recognized with the Distinguished Paper award at IEEE S&P 2024. Additionally, my contributions have been recognized with two Comcast Innovation Grant awards in 2022 and 2024.
